History
The Southeast Elite High School Athletic League (SEHAL)
"Where the South Comes to Play."
Founded by Louis Graham—former Division I standout and Naismith College Player of the Year at Georgia Southern University—SEHAL was born from a clear mission: to raise the bar for high school basketball in the Southeast.
Graham saw more than just a competitive gap—he saw a lack of structure, vision, and opportunity for talented student-athletes. SEHAL was created to change that.

A Movement with Purpose
What started as a vision has become a movement. Today, SEHAL unites the Southeast’s most competitive prep programs under one banner—to elevate, expose, and empower student-athletes at every level.
With a leadership team that understands both the game and the grind, SEHAL combines elite competition with real structure, next-level visibility, and championship culture.
As a certified member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and powered by TCAL Southeast, a regional division of the Texas Christian Athletic League (TCAL), SEHAL is officially recognized for its compliance, credibility, and commitment to the highest standards in scholastic sports.
SEHAL is more than a league
It’s a proving ground for student-athletes chasing greatness on the court and in life.
